Rising Starz Performing Arts will provide dance lessons within Lake Macquarie for people of all ages and abilities in an environment which is professional, fun and pressure free. Our passion for dance ensures that our classes are at the highest standard leaving students with a feeling of accomplishment.
Quality Teachers
At Rising Starz Performing Arts you can be assured that your child is being taught by teachers who are experts in their field. Each year our teachers travel to Sydney to attend the Teacher workshops held by the Australian Ballet Company. Our teachers regularly attend professional workshops and master classes to ensure that they stay up to date with industry trends and new developments in safe dance practice. Our teachers are friendly, professional and committed to helping students achieve their goals.
Studio Director: Miss Kimberley
Miss Kimberley has been studying dance for over 20yrs. Miss Kimberley studied dance as part of her HSC and was awarded with a Principals award for achieving the highest marks in her dance class. Miss Kimberley also studied Baton Twirling for 7yrs. During this time she competed at both a State and National Level.
Miss Kimberley was accepted into the Starburst Entertainment Group in 2001 and performed in their stage production of Zorro which toured throughout Sydney. During her time with the company she also played the role of Mona in their production of Chicago and played the role of Janet in their production of the Rocky Horror Show.
Her television credits include: Romper Room, WonderWorld, commercial for Burwood Shopping Centre, Super Sleuth segment for FOX8 as well as frequently appearing as an extra on Home & Away.
